Contemporary/urban fantasy. The bulk of this story takes place on a prison island, then it shifts to Los Angeles before Ben goes to Moab, Utah. Then he comes back home to LA. Ben is a werewolf, as is his wife, and Angeline is a vampire who adopts him like a puppy from the pound in the prison.
