I'm in, for as long as it lasts, unless it horrifies me in some way.

Unfortunately, with the quadruple whammy of it being Joss, Tim (Minear), Fox, and Friday, I give it...

Four. Four episodes, before they pull the plug.

It was good to see all the alums in this show though. And the kid that plays Topher bears a striking resemblance to the kid who played Andrew (Tom Lenk). I thought it was him at first, in fact.

So. We'll see.

In other news, I've decided that only the first two paragraphs of the not!kkbb/im novelthing suck. The other two opening paragraphs, where we are introduced to not!Harry, are pretty much okay.

I should have picked something easier than writing. Like...brain surgery. Yeah.

ETA: And, hey, wasn't it cool to see James Marsters on Numb3rs tonight? I just wish we could have had him and Navi in a scene together, but I don't think she was even in this ep. Woe. He could have threatened to cut her arms off, and it would have been a 2% joke...

I'm willing to give Dollhouse a fair try, but I wasn't overwhelmed with it. Some of the reasons I love Whedon's other series is the camaraderie of the cast, witty writing, and dashes of humor. I didn't see a great deal of that tonight, and I don't know how the show will bind the cast members together and best friends if half of them are using people and the other half lose their memories each day.

Well, it's hard to inject humor into an ep where they're dealing with child sex abuse. Hopefully more of Joss's humor will come out in future eps. It'll be interesting to see where they go with it, if they get that far. *glares @ Fox*

I wasn't bored, so that's good. It didn't really reach out and grab me, but I'm going to watch it for now. Given Fox and Joss's records together, the show will be done before I'm done with it. It was neat to see some of the old gang again, though.

I'll be checking it out when it goes up on the fox website. Crossing fingers that it runs. Fox have been keeping some good shows on the air of late, Fringe, Sara Conner, lets hope this one as well.

Kind of hope they cancel The Lie Whisperer AKA Lie to Me, I watch one and a half episodes and gave on up it.

Meh. Sarah Connor was kept on the air priarily because of the writer's strike. Mind you, it IS good, but that didn't stop them from almost pulling the plug on it anyways. *sigh*

I'm with Brit on this one. I give it at most six eps before some suit at Fox smothers it in its sleep. The only way I can see that not happening is if it stays as relatively meh as I found the pilot... in which case the Joss-fans will likely drop it.

Don't jinx it!

I wasn't overwhelmed by it. I was expecting a little Joss humor to shine through. I think that guy who controls or makes all of the programs (whatever his name is) has the potential to be funny.

It was the last few minutes where I went "D'oh" and got it. Joss and his writing style. Geez.

I wouldn't watch it even at gunpoint.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who kept looking at Topher and seeing Andrew.

I kept squinting at him... And I knew I hadn't seen him in the cast, so I finally went to IMDB and looked him up. Not Tom. Which is kind of a shame, because it seems to me that that role would have been perfect for him.

I found it interesting. I don't think it will last long though. =(

Oh no! I missed James!!! *pouts*
